Long Driveway Paving, Parking Expansion, and Culvert Work in Franklin, TN

The driveway at this Franklin, TN, home crosses a long stretch of the property before it reaches the road. Nash Paving extended the asphalt along that approach and expanded the paved parking area. Our work also included burying a culvert and preparing a base for a planned addition to the garage at the rear of the property.

Extending the Asphalt Driveway to the Road

Near the house, a broad concrete paved area meets the asphalt. Beyond that connection, the driveway runs through a tree-lined section of the property. We continued the asphalt all the way to the road, covering the lengthy approach rather than only the pavement immediately outside the residence.

A paving machine and dump truck were on the driveway during the job, and a worker used a broom near the edge. The completed asphalt has defined edges beside the grass and soil.

Culvert Installation and Garage Base Preparation

We also buried a culvert. For a homeowner unfamiliar with the term, a culvert is a passage that lets water travel beneath a road or another crossing. Vehicles use the surface above it, while water can move underneath. That makes the culvert an underground drainage feature, not another section of asphalt. It was one of the jobs we completed here, even though most of the visible work was paving.

Another part of our work took place toward the rear of the property, where we prepared a base for an addition to the garage. The base is the supporting area beneath the planned construction. Preparing it is different from building the addition itself. We handled that supporting area for the garage project, but the construction of the garage wasn’t included in our work.

Expanding the Residential Parking Area

The parking expansion was its own part of the asphalt job. The driveway provides a route between the home and the road; the parking area is space for vehicles to remain at the property. We expanded that paved space in addition to extending the long driveway.

Both were included in the work at this Franklin residence.
